Service & Information

The Natur Park Südgelände has two circuits that are accessible to the disabled. On the "small circuit" of about 1 kilometre in length, relics from the railway era can be seen, such as the water tower, the old turntable or an original steam locomotive. The "large circuit" is 2.7 kilometres long and leads through the nature reserve. It connects the dry grasslands of the central clearing with the robinia forest and the valley path. The trail map indicates which sections of the trail are not accessible by wheelchair.

Reisen für Alle

In September 2020, twelve inclusive exhibition elements were added to the open-air exhibition "Trailblazing Nature" so that the information is now accessible to blind and visually impaired visitors. The tactile objects are accompanied by texts in black and Braille. In addition, there is a lot of information to listen to and videos in sign language.

In September 2025, the Natur Park Südgelände was audited for accessibility for the first time by "Reisen für Alle" and received certification until August 2028.
